This large 3-day event is put on by Wisconsin Public Television and Nancy Zieman, the star of Sewing with Nancy. Hours are 9am to 6pm on Thursday and Friday, and 9am to 5pm on Saturday. There will be close to 200 vendors and we are excited to be one of them!
We will be selling Rich’s hand-turned seam rippers in various woods from the Ozarks ( cedar, cherry, locust, oak, Osage orange [hedge], and walnut. We also have rippers made in Olive wood from the Holy Land. For a limited time we have rippers made from Colorwood. This is Vermont maple which has been dyed and then laminated. It is very popular and very pretty. Our rippers come in 3 styles: a seam ripper/stiletto combo, a seam ripper on a necklace, and a seam ripper/computer stylus for your touch screen. As always, our rippers are finished with a natural finish (shellac and a light paste wax).
For the ultimate indulgence, pick up a “gun case ” to carry your ripper! Just don’t try to take it through TSA!
We are also showing our 7-piece crochet kit. You choose one wooden handle and get 6 interchangeable hooks – C, D, E, F, G & H – along with a lovely box to hold all the pieces. For your yarn we will have several wooden yarn bowls.
One of our newest products is a small wooden seam press. This is a great tool for those who like to finger press or for paper-piecing.
Come join us in Madison for a great time!
